Dreaming of a family vacation in Turks & Caicos where you can actually relax? Beaches Resorts are family-friendly all-inclusive resorts perfect for visiting with a toddler, and are part of the Sandals brand. Beaches has three resort locations: two in Jamaica and one in Turks and Caicos. Of the three, Turks and Caicos is the largest and it is the one I’ll be focusing on today. Beaches Resorts offer more inclusions than any other resorts. They were the Caribbean’s first autism-friendly resorts, having completed the rigorous IBCCES training to receive their Autism Certification. Once you visit this amazing all inclusive resort with your toddler, you may never want to leave.
Accomodations
Beaches Turks and Caicos offers rooms for families of every shape and size. There are four villages in Turks and Caicos, all with wide sidewalks that make it easy to get around, even with a stroller. My family stayed in a Key West one-bedroom suite, which was perfect for us. It contained a separate king-sized bed in the back bedroom and two twin trundle beds in the living area. We also considered the Italian family suite. It has a king-sized bed in the back bedroom and the front area has bunk beds and a separate sink area for washing hands and brushing teeth–perfect for kids!

The trundle bed–it was “super cool” that his bed slipped in and out of the couch.
Kids Club
One amazing thing about Beaches Resorts is their Kids Club programs. From newborns to teenagers, each one offers different programs to keep the kids engaged. They will always be participating in age-appropriate activities with their peers. All the while, they are supervised by certified nannies. All nannies are members of the International Nanny Association, which requires each nanny to have 2,000+ hours of child care experience. The Kids camp runs from 9AM to 9PM, and nannies are available after hours for babysitting at an additional charge.

Interaction with Sesame Street characters.
Sesame Street Fun
Beaches has a long-standing partnership with Sesame Street which is amazing for children. While we were there, my son did science experiments with Sesame Street characters. Children can also bake cookies with Cookie Monster and enjoy a nightly show with all of their favorite Sesame Street characters, complete with picture opportunities. Besides Sesame Street, there are plenty of water and land sports included at Beaches Turks and Caicos. Our favorites include Hobie Cat boats, kayaks, and glass bottom boats. Probably the biggest hit with everyone in our family is the Pirate’s Island Water Park, which includes five slides, a splash pad, a lazy river, and even a surf simulator!

Dining
Beaches at Turks and Caicos has 21 restaurants, with all but two being family friendly. One of our absolute favorites with our son was Bobby Dee’s, a 50s-style diner located inside the Jolly Roger ship in the Pirate’s Water Park. Open pretty much all day long, they offered pizza, chicken nuggets, Philly cheese steak, ruebens, and many other American classics. Plus, they offered ice cream and popcorn for quick snacks! There were also two kid-friendly food truck options. Mr. Mac served different varieties of Mac and Cheese, and Curls and Swirls served different flavors of ice cream.

Beaches Resorts are truly an all-inclusive vacation for you and your family. My family always finds the value in not having to spend any additional money once we arrive. As Beaches doesn’t allow tipping, there are no extras even for snorkeling or scuba diving. For adults, all-you-can drink premium liquor is also included. If you are looking for a deal, the best time to travel is September-October or January-February.
